Our Philosophy

“Color is broken light.” *

The Japanese literary critic Hideo Kobayashi once he said.

Just as the waves of the ocean crash against the sandy shore and rocks so too does the light of the great sun collide with the Earth and shatter beautifully coloring the entire planet.

We cherish this beautiful concise and profound concept of color that he said.

We decipher each fragment of light scattered across every form and reconstruct it into the intended color.

Finding order within chaos and building upon the techniques honed in prepress we continue to explore the possibilities of color.

We aspire to be a collective that fuses photography and printing technologies to manipulate color at will.

We aim to complete a puzzle of color as if restoring scattered light to its original form.

This is our origin.
