“Color is broken light.” *

The Japanese literary critic Hideo Kobayashi once observed.

Just as the waves of the ocean crash against the sandy shore and rocks so too does the light of the great sun collide with the Earth and shatter beautifully coloring the entire planet.

We deeply treasure this simple, elegant, and profound concept of color.

We decipher the light that has shattered into random fragments, reconstructing it into the precise colors we intend.

Finding order within chaos and building upon the techniques honed in prepress we continue to explore the possibilities of color.

We aspire to be a collective that fuses photography and printing technologies to manipulate light at will.

We complete the puzzle of colors—restoring shattered rays to their original whole.
